Diversity Visa Lottery Program 2018: Enter before Nov 7, 2016!

Bertoni-Law would like to remind you of the option to enter the Diversity Visa Lottery Program for 2018 (DV-2018) for a chance to apply for your green card. We do not provide representation for entering the lottery, but here is some general information you may find useful:

Entering the lottery is free and you may enter only once per program year. Each eligible person may apply if they meet the requirements, so each spouse could apply, if eligible.

You may apply from October 4, 2016 to November 7, 2016 through the U.S. Department of State E-DV website dvlottery.state.gov. After you submit your entry, make sure you keep a copy of your receipt and confirmation number so you can check the status of your entry.

You can check the status of your entry from May 2, 2017 to September 30, 2018 through the E-DV website at dvlottery.state.gov. While DV applicants may receive an email from the U.S. government reminding them to check their status online through DV Entrant Status Check, you will NOT receive a request for fees, notification letter, or email informing you that you are a successful DV entrant. Be aware of and disregard any fraudulent emails.

If you are selected in the process, Bertoni-Law can help you with every step of the green card application. You and any qualifying family members may be eligible to apply for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status for your permanent residence (green card). The earliest date to apply for the green card would be from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018.
